Music Video Review
For my music video review i chose to review Sway Your Head, by We Shot The Moon.

Sway Your Head - We Shot The Moon
Personally, i like this video. It does not have a story, nor does it relate to the song. The animation in the video makes it much more intersting. It gives it an artistic vibe to the video. it is simple but entertaining. It is not just shots of the band playing the song, which is nice. The animation in the video makes it unique, and the video fits with the rhythm of the song for the most part.
The video keeps the interest on it most of the time, because it switches between animation, the band, and the singer. The song is soft but upbeat, which is why the simple video works so nicely with it. The only reason I wouldnt like the video would be because its the same sort of thing the whole time, there is no plot or story to keep your full attention. Overall I enjoyed this music video.

This is scary because they take something childish and happy, and turn it into a scary evil thing. Im not sure if other people would find it as scary as i did, just because i watched it when i was young and it scared me forever, but i find it extremely distressing.

Song Review
Golden Years - David Bowie
This song is not neccessarily for me, but it portrays a very upbeat dance like mood. The instruments are used quite interestingly. There is a significant beat, which drives the song foreward. it gives that beat which is easy to dance to. The harmony is undescribable, and at times the melody really adds a nice effect to the song. The genre of this song is probably disco, or that at least is what it sounds like. The beat is very simple but noticeable, which is one of the elements that makes it easy to dace to. There are many layers in the song which all combine to make one interesting sound. Overall the song has many good elements of a song. I can imagine it was very popular in its time.

Review this song...
Liztomania - Phoenix
The melody of this song is a happy upbeat tune. The song in general is a very upbeat happy tune. The instruments all combine together to make a smooth sound. The layering in the song is effective. it definitely puts you in a happy mood. there is something simple yet attractive about the two note intro. The solo is not as great as the rest of the song but it definitely adds to the song. I like how the chorus is almost all vocal and then everything joins in together to create a nice effect. The song is generally well constructed and has a sophisticated feel to it. The transition to a minor key is also effective because it is not just the exact same thing so it is less boring. Then the climb back to the I really like the feel of the song and agree when pitchfork says its the number one of the summer.

The first
this is my first blog..
not too sure what to write about so im just going to talk about school.
im not such a fan of all my classes, communications is probably the best..
i dont like english. its not a fun course. im no good at it, so it will be interesting to see how this course goes because im pretty sure it involves english aswell
anywhoo. i wont waste any more time. because honestly, that was a really pointless blog.
